A Vision for Mount Prospect
I believe Mount Prospect's future should be built around responsible growth, affordability, accessible Government, and a community where every resident has a voice.
Our Community, Our Voices!
Growing Mount Prospect for the Future

Mount Prospect is a great place to call home, but our population has remained relatively stagnant for decades. We need thoughtful growth that gives young people, families, and longtime residents more opportunities to stay in or move to our community.

My Priorities:

  • Responsible Growth

  • Diverse Housing Options

  • Opportunties for Seniors

  • Smart Investments

Click below to read more -Encourage responsible residential development, including opportunities for new single-family homes in addition to townhomes and apartments. -Support a wider variety of housing options so young families, working residents, and seniors can find homes that meet their needs. -Explore opportunities for additional senior living and downsizing options so longtime residents can remain part of the Mount Prospect community. -Examine responsible incentives that can attract quality residential development and new investment to Mount Prospect.

Keeping Mount Prospect Affordable

Mount Prospect should remain a community where people can afford to build a life, raise a family, operate a business, and retire. As fees and the cost of living increase, Village leaders have a responsibility to continually ask whether those increases are necessary and whether we are doing everything possible to reduce the burden on residents.

My Priorities:

  • Protect Taxpayer Dollars

  • Keep Fees in Check

  • Maximize Grant Funding

  • Find Government Efficiencies

Click below to read more -Scrutinize proposed fee and cost increases and ask why they are necessary before voting to approve them. -Make responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars a priority in every budget and major Village investment. -Encourage the Village to aggressively pursue state, federal, and private grants to offset the cost of projects whenever possible. -Work with other taxing bodies whenever possible to find efficiencies, coordinate services, and reduce unnecessary duplication.

Bringing Village Government Closer to You

Good government should be open, accessible, and easy to understand. Residents deserve to know how decisions are being made, how their tax dollars are being spent, and who is doing business with their Village.

My Priorities:

  • Open & Competitive Bidding

  • Stronger Contract Oversight

  • Increased Community Input

  • Proactive Resident Outreach

Click below to read more -Advocate for open, competitive, and easy-to-follow bidding and procurement processes. -Push for strong oversight of Village contracts, vendors, and business partners to ensure taxpayers are receiving good value. -Create more opportunities for community input and bring conversations outside Village Hall and into our neighborhoods. -Advocate for proactive outreach so residents know what their Village government is doing and how they can get involved.

A Community That Supports Everyone

A strong community is one where every resident knows they have a voice and a place in our Village. As a teacher and public servant, I have seen how important it is to listen to people, advocate for those who may otherwise be overlooked, and make sure everyone has access to the support and opportunities they need.

As Trustee, I will:

  • Amplify Every Voice

  • Inclusive & Accessible Government

  • Support Local Business

  • Reach Every Neighborhood

Click below to read more -Advocate for residents and neighborhoods that may not always have a strong voice in Village Government. -Make inclusion and accessibility part of how the Village communicates, plans, and makes decisions. -Support our local businesses and work to ensure entrepreneurs and business owners have a responsive partner in Village government. -Seek out residents whose voices are not always represented at Village Hall instead of waiting for them to come to us.
