Rob is a proud resident of Mount Prospect and loves the feeling of community and family of the Northwest Suburbs.  Rob is currently in his tenth year as a public school teacher, teaching High School Social Studies specializing in American Government and United States History. He is a proud Union member of the Illinois Educational Association. Rob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Bradley University and holds two master's Degree from Concordia University and Illinois State University.

Family is the driving force in Rob's life.  He has been married to his husband Matthew, an Elementary School Social Worker, since 2020 and enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends cooking, laughing and exploring new spots in his community! For eight years, Rob was the Camp Director at  Boy Scout Camp Napowan, where a number of Northwest Suburban families attended summer camp.

Rob currently serves as an elected Elk Grove Township Trustee. As a trustee, he helped expand access to mental health programs, increased senior social services, and focused on growing both our food pantry and our community and youth programs. He serves with the simple yet powerful belief that good leadership starts with listening, bringing people together, and following through. Rob currently serves on the Elk Grove Township Mental Health and Wellness Committee.
